    Step into the World of the Tudors! Travel back 500 years with Chanter's Jigge as we unveil our brand-new programme celebrating the splendour, secrets, and surprises of the Tudor dynasty! With authentic Tudor instruments, stirring melodies, a dash of drama (sound effects included!) and a bit of humour, we bring history to life in ways you’ve never seen or heard . Alongside the music, discover intriguing Tudor facts rarely found in the history books. Of course, no Tudor spectacle would be complete without the sight of us in our magnificent scarlet Tudor gowns! ✨ Perfect for historic venues, festivals, U3As and community events, either as a concert with more music and fewer facts, or a little less music and more facts. Now taking bookings from April 2026 onwards. Don’t miss this vibrant journey into the world of Henry Vll, Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.

    🎄 A Christmas Concert of Carols & Seasonal Music. Join us for a sparkling celebration of Christmas! A festive hotpot of music across the centuries – from ancient carols to joyful yuletide melodies – brought to life on traditional, historic, and contemporary instruments. Stamp, clap, and sing along with well-loved favourites (carol sheets provided). Enjoy a mix of atmospheric, witty, and heart warming readings. Why not Indulge in mince pies and raise a seasonal glass (or two!). This is the perfect way to begin Christmas – with laughter and music. Come and share the joy – let’s be merry together!

  • Heigh Ho Holiday

    Come and join us on a lively, nostalgic musical journey around the British Isles! We bring you a joyful mix of traditional songs, tunes and tales, all sung and played with plenty of fun and good humour. Using numerous ancient and modern instruments we create rich colourful sounds that bring these much loved melodies to life. Along the way we revisit old favourites, The Wraggle Taggle Gypsies, Widdicombe Fair, The Lincolnshire Poacher and many more with plenty of opportunity to join with us if the mood takes you. Added to this a few traditional dance tunes and stories of how holidays were celebrated in days gone by. We promise you a performance that is warm, lively and full of smiles. Sit back, sing along, tap your feet or just relax and listen and enjoy a thoroughly entertaining trip down memory lane.

    A Lively Concert of Traditional Music. From Pilgrims to Princes take a step back in time and join us on a memorable musical journey through 600 years of history. From the 13th to the 19th century, discover the vibrant sounds that once filled the streets, heard by pilgrims, princes, and paupers alike. What to expect: Authentic performances on historical instruments. Music brought to life with eyewitness accounts & stories of the time. Fascinating facts about historic figures who passed through East Anglia to the sound of music. An entertaining, informative, and lively experience for all. Come along to where history sings, stories dance, and music lives again.
